In Love Someday
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful sea maiden. Born from sea foam, she travelled the seas in search of meaning, to brighten her otherwise colourless existence.
It was a damn cold night as she wandered aimlessly.
Exhausted, and underwhelmed with the world that surrounded her.
Devoid of honest love, yet she wandered on, to find what she dreamed of.
She wished on the moon above, to be taken by the hand, taken somewhere new.
Although she didn’t see it before, she already had love so true.
A text from a friend, read “I’ll love you beyond the end”.
A meal from her mother, made unlike any other, and the start of a new night to bask in the moonlight.
She never needed a 90's rom-com love to obsess, for she will never be a damsel in distress.
To the doubt in her mind, she broke away, and trusted in the universe, to be in love someday.
In this fleeting moment, she dazed in awe as two strangers danced in the moonlight. It was then that she knew of love. It was then that she found hope to meet it one day.
Dancing In The Moonlight

One fateful night, as the sky sparkled, she encountered an enchanting delight. She swam towards a hill overlooking her ocean. In her view, a warm melody adorned two silhouettes who were embraced, hand in hand, swaying in motion.
In this fleeting moment, she dazed in awe as two strangers danced in the moonlight. It was then that she knew of love. It was then that she found hope to meet it one day.
